ProMark Lightning Rods – drum rods
ProMark Lightning Rods are drum rods that provide a more aggressive sound, greater projection, and a brighter cymbal tone compared with the Hot Rods model. They are a compromise between classic drumsticks and brushes, offering a clearer attack while reducing volume.
The model is made from seven thick birch dowels, which are responsible for its dynamic and clear sound. The rubber tip helps produce a fuller and more rounded tone on drums and cymbals.
The rods have a diameter of 0.530" and a length of 16", providing a comfortable grip and good control during playing. Additional reinforcement around the neck increases durability, especially when playing cymbals and rimshots.
