Custom series snare wires are constructed with evenly spaced, medium-gauge wire and standard coil density. The Custom series offers five different strand count configurations, allowing you to choose the desired balance between the sound components of the snare shell and the wires. Models with a higher strand count emphasize the snare response, while those with fewer strands allow more room for the sound coming from the shell.
