Description
They are made of two layers of film joined together by welding. Between the film layers, there is a vacuum intended to dampen very high overtones and shorten the decay. The result of such a drumhead construction is a fairly sharp, low sound with a moderate attack. Its sound characteristics are ideal for achieving a deeper and fuller drum sound that works in various situations on stage and in the studio.
It is the drumhead most often chosen by rock and metal drummers.
