PINSTRIPE:
They are made of two plies of membrane joined together by welding. There is a vacuum between the film layers, which aims to dampen very high overtones and shorten sustain. The result of such a drumhead construction is a rather sharp, low sound with moderate attack. Its sound characteristics are ideal for achieving a deeper and fuller drum sound that works in various situations on stage and in the studio.
