MuffBite are innovative drum dampeners that make it easy to control the sound of the kit while preserving its natural character. By combining black felt with high-quality corduroy made from 100% cotton, the dampener covers around one third of the drumhead surface, effectively reducing unwanted overtones without over-dampening the instrument.
The magnetic RimMount system provides secure attachment to steel hoops and allows the dampeners to be quickly installed and removed. An additional advantage is the option to mount them on the resonant head side as well, giving even more freedom in shaping the sound.
MuffBite dampeners shorten sustain, reduce uncontrolled resonance, and give drums a more focused, dry, and precise sound that works very well both in studio recording and live performance.
Each dampener includes 3 metal clips, allowing installation on die-cast hoops. The clips are lined with foam on the inside, providing better grip and protecting the hoops from scratches.
