Description
Roland has taken digital percussion into a completely new realm with the unique and versatile HandSonic HPD-20, which is the ideal instrument for a wide range of music creators, from percussionists and drummers to electronic dance music performers, composers, and producers. As the product name implies, it is played with your hands rather than drumsticks. Equipped with the renowned SuperNATURAL sound engine and supported by multi-effects, the HPD-20 offers 850 dynamic ready-to-use sounds, plus the ability to load your own sounds via USB flash memory. Its 13 ultra-sensitive pads provide flexible control over onboard sounds and external MIDI instruments, all with unprecedented expression. HandSonic pads are also perfect for computer music applications for playing virtual instruments, recording MIDI and audio in DAW software, and many other uses. To build a super-compact drum kit, a Roland pad and hi-hat controller can be connected to the HPD-20 using the built-in trigger input.
