The TD-02 series brings the world's best electronic drumming experience for beginners at an affordable price. The TD-02K is the most compact kit in the series. It features a snare drum, three tom pads, a quiet beaterless bass drum pedal, three cymbals (hi-hat, crash, and ride), and a unique height-adjustable stand ideal for younger players.
Each kit in the TD-02 series features a full range of ultra-responsive drum pads, including a snare, three toms, and a space-saving bass drum pedal. The refined rubber surfaces of the drum pads are ideal for playing, and thanks to the mounts, it is easy to adjust angles and positions to your liking.
TD-02 series stands are a step up from those included with budget electronic drums, providing a solid, stable foundation for years of intense playing. And when you're done playing, simply lift the stand with the pads and tuck it away in a corner or closet.
The crash and ride cymbals in TD-02 kits swing naturally when hit and can be choked by grabbing the edge - just like acoustic cymbals. Both provide different sounds on the bow and edge, and the ride also supports crash playing. With the hi-hat and controller pedal, you get smooth transitions from open to closed and support for heel-toe and other authentic pedal techniques.
The three-post TD-02K stand offers easy height adjustment, making it ideal for younger players.

While drum pad noise is easily isolated in an enclosed space, the "thumping" generated when playing pedals can sometimes transmit to adjacent rooms through the floor. A long-standing problem with electronic drums was the static rack that couldn't be set to the right height. This problem has been solved here, and the height can be adjusted for both a child and an adult. All for the comfort and freedom of playing.
The pads are covered with soft rubber, which gives a rebound similar to an acoustic drum. As befits a V-drum model, the TD-02K also has very sensitive pads, which are worlds apart from cheap mesh models. Play what you want and when you want. You dictate the terms!
