Description
S-Hoops are innovative drum hoops, designed based on classic triple-flange hoops, but with a uniquely modified profile. The top edge of the hoop is folded towards the center of the drum and beveled towards the drumhead, which significantly affects playing comfort, sound, and tuning stability.
Compared to standard triple-flange hoops and die-cast hoops, S-Hoops are more stable, offer a wider tuning range and make drums tune faster and easier. Their unique design allows for effortless rimshots and extremely powerful and selective cross-sticks.
An additional advantage is reduced stick wear and reduction of shock and vibration transfer to the hands and wrists. This makes S-Hoops not only a durable but also a healthy and economical choice among hoops available on the market.
