The bodies are made of 100% European birch, updated with Sound Sustainer technology. When creating this series, various bodies based on birch wood were tried. However, Sonora producers came to the conclusion that the desired effect can only be achieved when the body is entirely made of birch.
The versatile sound ensures reliability both in the studio and at live concerts. Simple tuning and excellent sustain are provided by the CLTF "Cross Laminatiion Tension Free" system and OSM "Optimum Shell Measurement", i.e. the narrowing of the body on the outside.
Another convenience is the body insulation system by using rubber so that the wood does not touch directly with metal elements.
The unique finish of SQ1 is provided by varnishes inspired by classic cars. A layer of protective varnish was also added inside the bodies.
