Description
The Stewart Copeland model is a faithful attempt to recreate the sound of the snare drum he used with The Police and his other projects from that era. A brass shell 0.5 mm thicker than the standard (1 mm) and a combination of Die-Cast hoops on the batter drumhead and triple-flanged hoops on the snare side drumhead provides a powerful, penetrating sound that Copeland describes as: "bass sobbing combined with an ear-piercing guitar sound".
