Vic Firth American Classic Extreme 7A drumsticks are an extended version of the classic 7A model. The extra length provides greater reach, better leverage, and stronger attack, while keeping the light, familiar feel of the 7A size.
The sticks are made from hickory, which provides good durability, a stable feel in the hand, and effective vibration absorption. The medium taper supports natural rebound, while the wooden Tear Drop tip gives a clear, balanced cymbal sound.
The model works well for jazz, fusion, pop, and lighter playing, especially for drummers who like slim 7A sticks but need more reach and a stronger response.
