Description
Zildjian cymbals have been chosen for a reason by many outstanding drummers who have been loyal to this legendary brand for years. Among them are Simon Phillips, Steve Gadd, Aaron Spears, Mike Mangini, Marco Minnemann, Tommy Lee, and Lars Ulrich.
The FX Stack is a combination of two cymbals of identical diameter. The first, featuring holes and produced with a traditional finish, has a bright, glassy tone. The second - the bottom cymbal made of mild steel - provides an aggressive edge and appropriately dampens the top cymbal. Combined together, they respond with a short, bright, and raw sound, and the way they are set up - whether as a hi-hat or stacked directly on top of each other - gives them a completely different character. The set also includes a mounting adapter with a CymBoltTM nut, which allows for quick adjustment of the cymbals' sustain.
