Description
Many excellent drummers have chosen Zildjian cymbals for a reason, remaining loyal to this legendary brand for years. Among them are Simon Phillips, Steve Gadd, Aaron Spears, Mike Mangini, Marco Minnemann, Tommy Lee, and Lars Ulrich.
The FX Stack is a combination of two cymbals of identical diameter. The first one, featuring holes and made in a traditional finish, has a bright, glassy tone. The second - bottom cymbal, made of soft steel, provides an aggressive character and properly dampens the top cymbal. Together they provide a short, bright, and raw sound, and the way they are assembled - whether as a hi-hat or stacked directly on top of each other - gives them a completely different character. The set also includes a mounting adapter with a CymBoltTM nut, which allows for quick adjustment of the cymbals' sustain.
