Description

Made of two layers of film welded together. There is a vacuum between the film layers, which aims to dampen very high overtones and shorten the sustain. The result of such drumhead construction is a fairly sharp, low sound with moderate attack. Its sound characteristics are ideal for achieving a deeper and fuller drum sound that works in various stage and studio situations.
It is the drumhead most frequently chosen by rock and metal drummers.
