Description
MEINL Sonic Energy WG-TT40 Wind Gong 40" is handcrafted in China using traditional methods.
A special bronze alloy is used for their production.
These gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs and have an almost flat shape.
The flat shape of the gong allows the gong's voice to open up fully with a wide tonal spectrum and long sustain.
Lower tones are more dominant when played softly, but with harder playing the gong opens up beautifully and produces wave-like overtones.
