Meinl Artisan Edition Cajons are handmade in Spain under the supervision of master instrument maker Jose Hernandez Diaz. The craftsmanship results in a percussion instrument that gives the player more than they put into it; their refined sound and feel speak for themselves!
Every effort has been made to select the best wood combinations, to perfectly carve the surface of the cajon frontplate and shell, and to hand-wind the internal metal strings. All this to create an unparalleled, sensitive snare effect. Every minute detail of these instruments has been designed and engineered to achieve the best sound quality and a playing experience incomparable to any other cajon.
