LP Rhythm Rods:

Latin Percussion (LP) is proud to introduce its newest line of synthetic drum rods, called Rhythm Rods. These innovative products created with drummers and percussionists in mind are designed to provide greater versatility and expand the sound spectrum in every performance.

Rhythm Rods are synthetic rods constructed from a combination of many thin, high-quality polymer rods.

Each one is equippedwith an ergonomic, non-slip rubber handle and an adjustable sleeve, as well as O-rings, allowing for precise tuning sonic palette by controlling the degree of compression of the rods.

The Rhythm Rods range includes various models:

• LP9911 Lightweight Rhythm Rods (7/8” diameter): These lightweight rods have a reinforced core , which guarantees excellent balance, stability and comfort of play. Perfect for achieving subtle tones and precise attack.
• LP9912 Heavyweight Rhythm Rods (1-1/8” diameter): For those who prefer a chunkier rod, this model offers a reinforced core for even greater control sound. Perfect for producing strong, full sounds.
• LP9913 Synthetic Lightweight Adjustable Core Rhythm Rods (7/8” diameter): This model combines lightness with an adjustable core and a retractable rod, which allows you to adjust the articulation to your needs.
• LP9914 Synthetic Heavyweight Adjustable Core Rhythm Rods (1-1/8” diameter): This is a bulkier version of the LP9913 model, also with an adjustable core and extendable rod, providing greater control over sound.
• LP9917 Natural Rhythm Rods (1-1/4” diameter): 13-inch long rods made of thin organic material rods, allowing for increased control over the dynamics and reflection of the sound.

The new LP Rhythm Rods series offer an excellentbalance between the tone achieved with sticks and the sound characteristics of brushes.
The rods provide a softer attack, ideal for acoustic performances in smaller rooms . However, when the O-ring is tightened, articulation increases and the sound becomes thicker and richer, perfect for studio recordings.
