GRV HH-689R is a remote cable hi-hat stand, designed for setups where the hi-hat cymbals need to be placed in a different position than the pedal. This solution works well in expanded drum kits, configurations with additional pedals, hybrid setups, and situations where a standard hi-hat stand limits the instrument layout.

The cable-based construction allows the pedal position to be separated from the cymbal position. This makes it possible to place the hi-hat more to the side, higher, lower, or closer to other parts of the kit, depending on the drummer’s needs and available space.
