Diril Janara Ride 24" is a large, handmade Turkish ride cymbal from the Janara series by Diril Cymbals. This model is focused on a dark, soft, and organic sound, rather than the bright, aggressive projection typical of many modern rides.

Tone: low, warm, dark, with plenty of woody and slightly smoky overtones.
Ping: rather soft and rounded than glassy; it does not produce a very sharp “tick”.
Wash: wide and delicate - the cymbal opens up easily, creating a musical background.
Bell: relatively small and gentle, less cutting than on rock ride cymbals. The Janara series is described as having a small bell and a very soft, gentle response.
Volume: moderate; it feels best at medium dynamics, where it can show its complex harmonics.
