Description
These are made of two plies of film joined together by heat-sealing. There is a vacuum between the layers of film, which is intended to dampen very high overtones and shorten the decay. The result of this drumhead construction is a relatively sharp, low sound with a moderate attack. Its sound characteristics are ideal for achieving a deeper and fuller drum sound that works in various situations on stage and in the studio.
This is the drumhead most frequently chosen by rock and metal drummers.
