Description
The Concept Maple series features high-quality drums made from maple. All shells are 7-ply, except for the snare drum, which is 10-ply. Through experience gained from the DW Custom Shop, the company found specific features and details that have a huge impact on sound and quality. Believing that every drummer deserves to use these solutions, PDP utilizes the DW STM independent suspension system, True Pitch™ tension rods for precise tuning, FAST sized toms, new hoops, and Remo drumheads in the Concept Maple kit. The snare drum features a DW MAG magnetic throw-off and boutique-style copper snare wires. Bass drum hoop claws are die-cast, and other elements feature new retro-inspired Dual Turret lugs.
PDP CONCEPT is a direct reference to top-tier DW models, both aesthetically and sonically.
