Description
Zildjian cymbals have been chosen for a reason by many outstanding drummers who have been loyal to this legendary brand for years. Among them are Simon Phillips, Steve Gadd, Aaron Spears, Mike Mangini, Marco Minnemann, Tommy Lee, and Lars Ulrich.
The FX Stack is a combination of two cymbals of identical diameter. The first, featuring holes and made in a traditional finish, has a bright, glassy tone. The second – the bottom one, made of mild steel – provides an aggressive sound and appropriately dampens the top cymbal. Combined, they deliver a short, bright, and raw sound, and the way they are set up – whether as a hi-hat or stacked directly – gives them a completely different character. The set also includes a mounting adapter with a CymBoltTM nut, allowing for quick adjustment of the cymbals' sustain.
