Description
EVANS HD Dry is a batter drumhead designed for drummers who demand maximum durability, precise response, and advanced overtone control. Thanks to the use of precisely drilled "dry vents", unwanted, stray overtones are effectively eliminated, resulting in a tight and controlled sound.
The drumhead consists of two plies: a 5-mil coated outer ply and a 7.5-mil inner ply, complemented by a 2-mil overtone control ring mounted on the underside. This construction provides a slightly defined attack, short sustain, and somewhat reduced brightness compared to standard EVANS HD drumheads.
The coated surface increases wear resistance and extends the drumhead's lifespan, while the Level 360 technology guarantees easy tuning with a wider range and optimal sound quality across the entire surface. It is an excellent choice for situations where control, selectivity, and tonal consistency matter, both on stage and in the studio.
