The drum shells are made of three different types of wood, tailored to the size and function of the drum: maple, birch, and mahogany. This is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship, resulting from years of research and experience by Pearl. The thickness of the shells has been adjusted to the sizes of the drums: 5.4 mm for toms and 7.2 mm for the bass drum.

It is worth noting that hardware weight has also been reduced by 30%, thanks to the use of 1.6 mm thick FatToneHoops, which provide strength without weighing down the drum. The STL system (Swivel Tube Lugs) allows for precise tuning and minimizes contact with the shell, and the professional Aluminum OptiMount suspension system minimizes contact between the shell and hardware.

REMO drumheads, SST technology (Super Shell Technology) based on the perfect combination of plywood layers, and the choice of wood (maple, birch, mahogany) are elements that add true magic to the sound.
